A No-Title Post

Just wanted to say I’ve arrived at Kochi, alive and unscathed(almost). Thanks all of you who wrote in to wish me luck on the move.

One of the first things I did was to go to my fav library Eloor , at Convent Junction. Just standing there gave me a burst of happiness that I so badly needed. The next thing I did was to at the Talwalkar Gym neary(I do hope I lose more than just money *fingers crossed*).

I’ve also attended 2 weddings and have been invited to 3 others in the span of 7 days that I have been here- what do I say- Thats Kerala for you!!!!

Before I forget… Happy New Year all of you..May all your wishes come true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. Good to know you are settling down there, Kerala ishtyle. 🙂
I hope Talwalkar’s helps but one of the few things I miss about Kochi are the libraries (and the baking supplies shop)!
I finally made that lovely lemon yogurt cake you served me when I came over and thought you might want to see it. http://www.mydiversekitchen.com/2011/01/french-style-lemon-yogurt-cake-gateau.html

  3. Hello,

Good to read your blog. Quite mortified to hear about the’ eve-teasing.’

I read your comment on the http://kochiread.blogspot.com/ blog I maintain for our Reading Group. You seem to be one who might enjoy reading and discussing. But you may be too busy to devote the time.

We will have people leaving our group and if you care to, you can take a look at the top right of our blog; there is a CHARTER which we subscribe to. And if you feel inclined to join after looking at the Charter, please let me know.

P.S. yes, we have fun in spite of our serious intent.

  4.
